Pampelonne is not a town but a beach — 4 km of sand within Ramatuelle, and around thirty establishments operating from May to October. It is also, in July and August, the tightest logistical spot in the Golfe: one main access road, car parks full by 11am, and queues stretching along the Route des Plages at lunchtime. We run Pampelonne several times a day in season. Our drivers know the back entrance to Club 55, the shaded parking at Nikki Beach, the window that gets you into Bagatelle without queuing, and the side roads that bypass the Route des Plages when it saturates.
Access, club by club
The establishments along Pampelonne spread over nearly 4 km, from Club 55 in the north to Bonne Terrasse in the south. Confusing them costs time: over a kilometre separates Club 55 from Nikki Beach, with separate access roads and car parks that do not connect on the road side. So we always ask for the name of the establishment, not just "Pampelonne". It determines the route, the drop-off point, and sometimes the departure time — some accesses are far busier than others at the same hour.
Continuous shuttles
The most requested arrangement in high season is not the one-off transfer but the shuttle: a dedicated vehicle rotating between your villa and the beach, without you having to call each time. That is what solves the return. Around 6-7pm, when everyone leaves the beach at once, finding an available vehicle is a matter of luck. With a shuttle booked, the driver is already there.
Villa tracks and late evenings
Some of the villas overlooking Pampelonne are reached by unsurfaced tracks, narrow and sometimes steep, particularly towards Cap Camarat. Our Mercedes vans handle them where a low saloon gives up — mention it when booking and we assign the right vehicle. Late in the evening, transport supply thins out sharply in the area. Returns after midnight need planning: it is the point in the day where improvising costs the most.
