The closest of the three airports
Toulon-Hyères is about 65 km from Saint-Tropez, an hour's drive — against 1h30 from Nice and 2 hours from Marseille. Whenever your flight schedule leaves the choice, it is almost always the more comfortable option. The airport is also far smaller: getting from the aircraft to the car rarely takes more than ten minutes, where Nice can easily take three times that in high season.
The route
The journey takes the N98 then the D559, either along the Maures coast through Le Lavandou and Cavalaire, or inland via Cogolin depending on traffic. The coast road is the prettier one; inland is quicker late in the day. Our drivers make that call on the day based on actual traffic, with nothing for you to worry about.

Is Toulon really more convenient than Nice?
For the drive, yes: an hour against an hour and a half, and a much quicker airport to cross. Nice, however, offers far more destinations and frequencies — that is the trade-off when booking flights.
Do you also serve the port of Toulon?
Yes, transfers from Toulon port and the TGV station are part of our regular work, particularly for crews.
